Psst! Our Incumbent President Joe Biden Is Not Really Winning Primaries in Fla., N.C., and Tenn.
The Democrats who disdain democracy are protecting Biden by rigging the primary elections in Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee. They ought to be ashamed.
Hey! I’ve got a secret.
Using all the political power of his incumbency, President Joe Biden is setting himself up not to really win primary elections in Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Biden and the Democratic National Committee are arm-twisting state Democratic officials to either cancel the Democratic Party primary elections in their states or rig the process so Biden is the only candidates appearing on the primary election ballot.
Sometime, the President must have had an off-the-record phone call with Vladimir Putin, who told him how elections are handled in his so-called democracy. Putin reminded him of the history of such great come-from-behind Soviet Union election wins by avid campaigners Jospeh Stalin, Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Breznev, Yuri Andropov, and Konstantin Chernenko. Even the ultimate good guy in this bunch, Mikhail Gorbachev, started his tenure the same way.
Rigging the rules so either you win or you just don’t have to compete. That’s how the Soviet Union operated. But it’s not the American Way.
As a supporter of U.S. Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minnesota, for the 2024 Democratic nomination for president, we plead this simple fact: Phillips is prevented from winning primaries in those states if his name does not appear on the ballot.
The Moderate Democrat has been the paid communications director for a state political party. We know obsequiousness to an order from on high when we see it! (For the record, in the state party I served, I never saw such behavior, not at all.)
As it stands, depending on the laws in each of the three aforementioned states, Biden will either be the only name on the ballot. Or there will not be a Democratic primary election.
He will have won by fiat. But from only ersatz strength. Really, it’s tremendous weakness. Biden is dragging the Democratic Party down to presidential defeat in 2024 by refusing to let other candidates, especially Dean Phillips, oppose him.
In his Letter From Birmingham Jail sixty years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
I’m going to paraphrase that: “Injustice to democracy anywhere is a threat to just democracy everywhere.”
Then I ask: “Why are Democrats in several states opposing democracy in their own presidential primary elections for 2024?”
Asked and answered: “Because Democratic state party leaders in several states are part of a blatant effort of collusion with the Democratic National Committee to block Biden’s challenger Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., from appearing on the Democratic primary ballot in opposition to President Joe Biden.”
This decision has not been publicly announced by the N.C. State Board of Elections. But in Manchester, N.H., on Saturday, Phillips said North Carolina officials informed of the decision to leave him off the ballot, as reported by The Washington Post.
Why is this happening?
We need only look to the front page of Saturday’s Wall Street Journal to read the last poll about Biden’s electability. It pains me as a Democrat, but I realized months ago — and now more than ever — that the incumbent is sinking beyond the likelihood of winning réelection.
Possible? Our Democrat Barack Obama beat the incumber Republican, George H.W. Bush, in 2008. And guess what? Our incumbent Joe Biden beat the incumbent Republican in 2020. Even Republicans can do it: Incumbent Ronald Reagan beat Jimmy Carter in 1980.
With this possibility fixed firmly in mind and political calculus, let’s finish by looking at the Wall Street Journal poll, just two days old.
Let’s look at those poll details close up, so you don’t miss them. And, yes, it stinks that Phillips was not named as a candidate in this poll. For now, that’s beside the point. But, yes, it shows the media omitting a perfectly respectable;e candidate and member of Congress.
Last, I’m going to present recent headlines and election documents showing the results of the White House’s and DNC’s campaign to shove Phillips aside.
It’s un-democratic! Wrong! Blatant!
